Napa, CA – Fall Fashion and Color Trends
August is nearly over – it’s hard to believe another summer is drawing to a close. With Labor Day weekend upon us marking the official end the summer season, our thoughts begin to turn to fall.
This means we must begin to consider our fall wardrobe. Our closet transitions from the lightweight dresses and flowy tops of summer to heavier fabrics and more layered looks.
With that in mind, what are the fashion trends heading into autumn?
Burgundy, one of my favorite colors of all time, is a hot color this fall. This rich, deep shade was seen all over the runways during New York fashion week. It pairs well with periwinkle or bright red.
Another color making an appearance in many looks was gold, especially in evening wear. Shades of goldenrod and saffron were prevalent in some designers’ collections.
Denim was also a stylish look as part of a New Americana trend. Western motifs including grommeted leather jackets, fringed shirts, and prairie dresses were also seen on the runway. I don’t know about you but denim is and always will be a large part of my wardrobe.
Going the other direction, sheer looks were all the rage, from tops to dresses. And metallic fashions were yet another runway favorite.
So where does all this leave you? Let’s look at some pieces from my online jewelry store that might go well with these trends.
To pair with a burgundy outfit, try this Ledson gray leather bracelet. Lovely dove gray Spanish leather is gently kissed with soft colors of blush pink, rose and burgundy red. The combination of textures in the silver spacer beads creates a sweet, seductive balance between color and texture that complement the soft blush cabochon set in silver as the focal.
To complement Western looks, this Western Style Leather Bracelet would be ideal. This piece features a slim band of fine Italian leather in harvest gold set off with a fun galloping horse and silver-plated dot beads. Or, the newest Spanish leather bracelet to become part of Jewels of the Vineyard, the Black Leather, and Turquoise Bracelet. A natural complement to turquoise beads is leather and this does not disappoint. A thick rope of rich black European leather sets off an impressive collection of silver beads in a myriad of shapes and textures. Interspersed among the silver, are handmade beaded rings and a stunning silver set cabochon at center. This lovely leather bracelet is held together with an easy to use magnetic clasp
To go with your metallic looks, try any of these metallic leather bracelets. Copper, gold, silver and bronze are stylish and trending. Who would think leather can be so beautiful?
Whatever your style, Jewels of the Vineyard has a piece to give your ensemble that “wow” factor. Transition from summer to fall with a beautiful new bracelet to complement your wardrobe.
