He asked the question and you said yes! Congratulations. How exciting for both of you in finding the person to share your life with. Now, where should you have a wedding? What will make it the most special day for you and your guests? The wine country, of course. But, one of the small details that can be overlooked is the wedding party gifts from the bride. Jewels of the Vineyard can take care of that for you so you can spend the time you need to make all the other decisions. And, there are a lot of decisions to make.
I love making custom jewelry for people. And, nothing can be more personal than a wedding. Take a peek at the website and find a style you like. You and I can talk and come up with the perfectly designed bracelet for each of your bridesmaids and/or mothers that will tell them how special they are to you. As I say, “I create jewelry to express the beauty of the person who wears it.” From the thick ropes of fine Spanish Leather and beads in the Stags’ Leap Collection to the wraps in the Calistoga Collection, these leather bracelets are unique, refined and organic much like the wine country. Of the bracelets I design, I enjoy designing with someone seeking a unique and special bracelet.
Now that you have the bridal party gifts taken care of, let’s talk about where you want to be married. There are a number of beautiful venues in Napa and Sonoma and up and down the coast of the U.S. to choose from. Washington State and Oregon are as beautiful as the locations in California. Indoor, outdoor, wine cave or vineyard are just some of the places to say your vows. Take your time to decide. Here are a few things to remember: wineries must have permits to hold weddings. So, if you find a lovely little spot that would be the perfect place to say “I do”, make sure it is permitted. Book very far in advance. The wineries are very popular wedding venues and get booked up quickly. Here are some links to get you started in the search:
Most of these locations have excellent wedding planners or advisers to help you work out the details. Flowers, music, table settings, time of day, invitations, etc. Too much all at once? Make a list, get help from your maid of honor and/or your mother. A wedding is a family and friend celebration. But, it’s YOUR wedding. Design it to fit the people you and your husband-to-be are. Have fun. It’s a fun celebration of love. And, by all means, give me a call or send an email so I can help in the celebration. The gifts you give will be a constant reminder to the recipient of the day you were married and the special part they played in the day.
